About Jasmine Ussery
Hello, my name is Jasmine Ussery. I am the proud owner and lead BCBA of Applied By Angels. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and creating on the ceramic wheel. I grew up in Newburgh, IN, and while I've spent time exploring other parts of the U.S., I'm grateful to be back home sharing the knowledge and experience I've gained along the way.
Although I once shied away from the idea of behavior change, years of study and practice in Applied Behavior Analysis have transformed not only my career but also my life as a mother. Today, I specialize in helping individuals of all ages—from 18 months to 64 years—discover practical solutions that improve communication, behavior, and everyday life. My passion is seeing the relief, growth, and hope that meaningful change brings to families.
My Journey in Helping Others
Early Beginnings
My journey in helping others started in elementary school, when I spent recess teaching motor skills to my peers. That passion grew through high school, where I led sports camps, and continued into college. After graduation, I worked with Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation from 2014–2017, while also beginning my Master's at Ball State University.
Clinical Experience
In 2017, I stepped into the clinical world as a behavior therapist at Little Stars in Newburgh, IN. I later served families through a large home and community-based waiver program until 2020, when I began building Applied By Angels as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
In 2021, I joined Hopebridge in Roswell, GA, where I worked with children as young as 18 months to 12 years of age, gaining invaluable experience with diverse families and needs.
Diverse Experience & Expertise
Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other diagnoses, including OCD, ODD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and additional medical and psychological conditions. Experience serving bilingual learners and multi-generational families. What keeps me passionate is seeing families find solutions, relief, and hope through compassionate, evidence-based care.
